Sabrina Samuel Featured Artist in Northeast Georgia Living

Sabrina Samuel, artist and iconographer, was recently featured in the Holiday/Winter 2009-2010 edition of Northeast Georgia Living. The feature article in the Arts section of the magazine introduces readers to Sabrina and her style of iconography and art. Several beautiful full color photos of her icons and art are presented and provide a visual treat for the reader. According to the writer, William D. Powell, “Sabrina Samuel blends two styles of iconography – Russian and North African Coptic – giving her work a singular look and feel.”

Sunday, December 20th, her rector Archdeacon Randall Allen announced Sabrina’s inclusion in the magazine and displayed the magazine for the church to see. At the announcement the congregation erupted in applause in celebration of this great honor.

Sabrina Samuel along with her husband, Father Stanley Samuel, and their children, John and Jessica, are members of St. Andrew’s Church in Covington, Georgia and are in charge of St. John’s Eucharistic Fellowship in Royston, Georgia where they live.
