I am glad to report that we have been having Fellowship meetings at Makindye in Kampala. Sunday, December 13, 2009, I launched and opened a full Parish church with the Sunday Eucharist. We are temporarily hosted by Orphans Rescue Ministries (ORM) - Makindye Orphanage, on their compound. This is now the first Parish Church in the new Lake Victoria Diocese.
This new diocese was suggested during the Development Committee Meetings in Nairobi and consistent with Archibishop Jones’ admonition to me to take care of the Diocese in Kampala. The Ugandan House of Bishops created this new diocese in July.
At the same Sunday service I made one man a Commissioned Minister/Evangelist. He will help me to run the Parish. The above photo is from the Sunday service.
