John Nitterauer, music minister at the Church of the Resurrection, Asheville, NC, has released a new CD. “I had some unexpected time off last summer and the Lord told me that I was always complaining to Him about all of these original songs I had in my head, with no time to record them. So I was obedient and began what would turn into a recording project which spanned well over a year. The album is a journey of faith starting with the Garden of Eden and ending up in the heart of a modern believer living in the world but trying to follow God.”
Being a musician for over 30 years, John’s experience in many musical styles and life’s situations brings with it an honest portrayal of a believer who has fallen many times but is saved again and again by God’s grace through Jesus Christ. Styles represented in this project are: Contemporary, Blues/Jazz, Progressive, Ballads, Punk, Rap, Country, and Alternative, to name a few. Some of these songs were written as worship songs and are used regularly by the Church of the Resurrection. Ordering details and samples of the CD are available through CDbaby.com and samples and more pictures and info are available on John’s website.
